OVERVIEW

   MeetingWare Task for Windows and Windows 95 is a revolutionary computer software solution for the meeting planning challenge.  MeetingWare Task was developed by practicing veteran meeting professional as a project management tool which can be used to organize meetings, events, conferences, seminars, trade shows, conventions, workshops, exhibitions, and incentive trips.

   Planning any new meeting or event can be complicated and time consuming, especially when many separate activities are required.  Activities such as site preview and selection, budget development, marketing and publicity, food and beverage, ground transportation, and lodging require many tasks to be completed in a definite sequential order.  You not only have the tasks for the new meeting, but many unfinished tasks already in the works for other meetings.  About now you may ask yourself, isn’t there some way to pull all these tasks together into a manageable workload?

   MeetingWare Task helps you to organize your workload quickly and professionally.  Your use of MeetingWare Task begins by entering your present timelines (lists of tasks in sequential order) into the MeetingWare Task system on your computer.  Each task entered would have an assigned minus number (-60) indicating the number of days prior to the beginning date of the meeting that the task should be completed.  The task would also designate the staff member who is assigned to handle that responsibility.  Once entered, your customized timelines can then be used over and over again for future meetings.

   With MeetingWare Task, each new meeting is easily created by entering the meeting title, beginning date, initials of the assigned task planner, and the physical location of the event.  The planner then selects all needed timelines by clicking the mouse.  One additional click will merge the selected timelines into the meeting.  All task minus numbers are converted to calendar dates and placed in sequential order.  A few additional clicks and you have a list of tasks to be completed by yourself and staff members each day for that meeting, or a list of all tasks for all meetings assigned to yourself for the next two weeks.  There are over 40 such reports to help you manage your staff and your meetings.

   Imagine sitting at your computer in an initial planning meeting with a client or an upper management supervisor and entering the required meeting or event data as you both plan the activities.  In a short time, all the tasks for a successful meeting or event are organized into your own computer database.  You can then print reports, on the spot, of your assigned task and those of the client or supervisor.  It’s that fast, and that easy, and it’s very impressive!

     Two different editions offer the right system for everyone.

   MeetingWare Task for Windows and Windows 95, Professional Edition, is designed for the office which needs multiple licenses.  This edition is network enabled and comes with two licenses.  Additional licenses may be ordered at the time of purchase, or later on.

   MeetingWare Task for Windows and Windows 95, Standard Edition, is designed for the small office which needs one license.  This edition is not network enabled.

YOUR SOLUTION CONTINUES

   Task is just one of three meeting planning computer software solutions offered by MeetingWare International.  MeetingWare Budget and MeetingWare Registration for Windows are also available as separate systems.  However when Task is bundled with Budget and Registration they become MeetingWare Office.  With these three products together a more complete and compatible solution to your administrative management duties becomes available.  Consider the purchase of all three.  It’s a great value as the price for Office is less than the three purchased separately.

  • DOS operating system version 3.1 or later
  • Microsoft Windows operating system version 3.1 or later, or Windows 95

  • One 3.5" high-density disk drive
  • VGA or higher resolution video adapter
  • Mouse or compatible pointing device
